Joe is Academic Leader for Interior Architecture and Design and has been working in the interior architecture industry for over 20 years. With a BA Interior Design from Glasgow School of Art, MA Architecture and Interior Design from the Royal College of Art and a PGCE from Canterbury Christchurch University, Joe has accumulated experience in design practice, theory and education. Joe has worked with a number of leading design consultancies and founded a successful design partnership practice and is established as an independent design consultant. In his most recent role as Advanced Practitioner at Kensington and Chelsea College, Joe delivered key developments in e-learning strategy and digital resources.
Lorenzo is a spatial designer and researcher based in Glasgow, UK. His research and teaching interests span across spatial design, sensory architecture, the interactive processes user-space, the role of materiality in production of space and the development of unconventional forms of spatial representation. After completing an MA Interior Design from Birmingham City University, and a BA (Hons) Interior Design inter-institutionally between Birmingham City University (UK) and the Politecnico di Milano (Italy), he was awarded a PhD in Spatial Design and Sonic Materiality. He has previously worked at Birmingham City University and exhibited his work in Estonia and the UK.
Caroline is a freelance designer and runs her own business. She has a BA in Interior Architecture and Design from Nottingham Trent University and also a postgraduate teaching certificate specialising in lifelong learning. She has over seven years’ experience within the industry working with different architects, designers and large manufacturing companies in their interior design departments. She has previously worked as an online tutor and has over three years previous experience in supporting students with their design qualification through online learning. Caroline’s skills range from design and presentation software through to hand sketching, rendering and technical drawing.
Rajinder has been working as a freelance design consultant for over ten years. With a BA in Business Management from Southampton Institution, Diploma in Interior Architecture from Kensington and Chelsea College and also a PGCE from Canterbury Christ Church University; Rajinder has considerable interior and product design experience, working independently and collaboratively with established designers. Rajinder is inspired by exploring narrative and origins of a concept. He describes his discipline as being influenced by the environment, materials, sustainability and political factors. He also has exceptional specialist knowledge in computer aided design (CAD). Most recently, Rajinder has been involved with renovation projects in Europe and tutor and curriculum development for Kensington and Chelsea College, South Essex College on the BA (Hons) Interior and Spatial Design programme and University of Art London: Chelsea College of Art, Professional Practice courses.
