IDI in the running for prestigious Wharton-QS Stars “Reimagine Education” Award

October 2015

IDI has this week been shortlisted for the prestigious Wharton­-QS Stars Reimagine Education Awards 2015. The judges considered more than 500 projects submitted by education providers located across the world and IDI has been selected to progress to the next stage as one of the finalists for these prestigious awards.

There are three finalists in each Award category and IDI will be considered for its contribution to E-Learning Innovation, which aims to identify the most innovative online pedagogy resulting in enhanced student learning outcomes. In addition, one of the successful finalists will be awarded $50,000 and declared Overall Winner.

Among those on the judging committee will representatives from the world’s leading education institutes including: Douglas Becker, Chairman and CEO at Laureate Education; William Rankin, Director of Learning at Apple; Joshua Kim, Director of Digital Learning Initiatives Dartmouth Centre for the Advancement of Learning (DCAL); Jaime Casap, Chief Education Evangelist at Google.

Considered to be the global education sector’s equivalent of the Oscars, the Wharton­QS Stars Reimagine Education Awards ceremony will take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Tuesday 8th December.
