BA (Hons) Interior Architecture and Design
"It has been a wonderful experience for me to design a contemporary art gallery in an Islamic city in the midst of conventional buildings. The buildings are quite similar in their built forms. Preserving the essence of Islamic characteristics of the architecture, my intention was to add an intense contemporary expression to the façade. Proposed glazed feature paneling with 3D text rationally articulates the contemporary atmosphere. Geometric patterns on the glass cast alluring shadows, thus preventing any intense glare on the inside, while suspended display panels make the interior volume spacious."
