Project: Designing a contemporary fine art photography gallery
"To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place..." - Elliott Erwitt
"Similarly for this project, I have taken an ordinary place - an abandoned factory in Malaysia - and I have turned it into a contemporary art gallery that aims to challenge the traditional notion of an art gallery. Inspired by Nadav Kander’s photography, I have utilised light and shade to create a space that ‘reveals yet conceals’; and that exhibits ‘ease with unease’."
“Styles come and go. Good design is a language, not a style.” –Massimo Vignelli
