Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards 2016
One of the UK’s leading providers of accredited online undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses, the Interactive Design Institute (IDI), has been shortlisted in the Outstanding Student Services Team category of the Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Awards 2016.
Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, IDI delivers online courses to students throughout the UK and in more than 70 countries worldwide. Founded in 2004 and employing a core office staff of 30, alongside a network of tutors and developers across the UK, the business has developed an online cloud-based learning environment and has become the first fully online provider in the UK to gain approved status from the Quality Assurance Agency. In addition to partnering with higher education institutions, such as the University of Hertfordshire, IDI’s learning management system can also be customised, providing a ‘white label’ service for other training institutions and corporate partners such as IDI’s relationship with one of the world’s largest publishers, Penguin Random House.
Michael Stewart, Director of Communications at IDI said, “We are absolutely delighted to be shortlisted in these prestigious awards, particularly as it recognises the work of our Student Services Team, which has provided first-class advice, guidance and support to our worldwide student body over the last 11 years. There is no doubt that their dedication has facilitated a positive and fulfilling learning experience for our students and contributed significantly to high levels of student satisfaction and academic achievement”.
The Times Higher Education Leadership and Management awards dinner and ceremony will take place on Thursday 23rd June 2016 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London. This will be a spectacular event with over 1,000 guests expected to be in attendance, including politicians, senior sector figures, and academic and university staff from all corners of the UK.
Winners will be presented with a specially commissioned trophy, and all finalists will receive certificates in recognition of their achievement.
