Established in 2004, the Interactive Design Institute (IDI) has grown into one of the UK’s leading providers of online courses in Art and Design. IDI now enables over 500 students per year in more than 70 countries realise their academic potential. Though our Collaborative Partnership with the University of Hertfordshire, we have revolutionised the delivery of accredited Art and Design education through our unique online provision.

Our students tell us that we do a great job – the number of people choosing to study online with IDI is growing rapidly. As a result we are looking to recruit into our Student Recruitment team.
You will become part of our Student Recruitment and Admissions team. We undertake extensive online marketing activity which leads to inbound enquiries and applications from all over the world. You’ll be dealing with daily inbound enquiries, following up on leads and providing all necessary support to encourage the enquirer to apply for a course. Once the applicant has been offered a place you will follow up with payment options and encourage them to pay their fees.
You’ll be required to develop an in depth knowledge of IDI’s products, fees and payment methods and work closely with the Admissions Team to ensure all necessary entry requirements are met. We are not a call centre, you will be part of a growing, successful team of specialists who have responsibility for increasing our student numbers. You will also work closely with our Marketing team providing feedback on how current campaigns are impacting student demographics and lead quality. You will have to organise and prioritise your workload without direct supervision, working to agreed deadlines and sales targets.
With previous experience in a sales environment you will be happy working in a small team, organising your own workload and hitting sales targets. You have excellent written and verbal communications skills and are more than comfortable talking to customers and selling over the phone. You will be confident using Microsoft Office and whilst not essential, knowledge of Salesforce is desirable.
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Permanent Full Time - 40 hours per week - 8am-8pm. Please note occasional weekend working may be required.
Salary: £16-20k (dependant on experience) plus bonus
