MA Interior Design
On the MA Interior Design programme, you’ll consider interior design on a global scale – as well as in broader interdisciplinary art and design contexts.
During your individual project, you’ll engage with experimental techniques, methods and media relevant to your proposal. Through this and your involvement in group projects, you’ll be encouraged to develop a professional approach to your interior design practice.
Through our online study website, you’ll receive unlimited one-to-one tuition from tutors who are all experienced design professionals. This is also where you’ll discuss projects with your peers, and upload your work for assessment and feedback.
With IDI, you’ll develop an individual creative approach, and graduate with confidence in your aesthetic, design and commercial judgement.
Our online master’s in interior design is taught across six semesters, delivered over two years.
Each semester consists of twelve weeks of study followed by four weeks of assessment processes.
While studying, you’ll be expected to set aside a minimum of 15-20 hours per week for your directed activities. You should also consider additional time needed to read supporting materials, upload your work to the site, and for discussion with your tutors and peers in the forums.

What Will I Learn?
You will study a number of interdisciplinary modules alongside students from related art and design subject areas, while also specialising in your own discipline. You will be encouraged to approach each module from the point of view of your own individual practice, as well as developing skills in collaboration and an understanding of working in the Creative Industries within interior design.
Am I Eligible?
We consider all applications on an individual basis and are open to assess non-standard qualifications. The first step is to complete an application form and we’ll send you an invite to access your own secure admissions area within the study site.
