“For as long as I can remember, I have always been drawn to the artistic field. As a child, I felt that drawing and painting helped me to express my inner most thoughts.

“PC games were my first interaction with the digital and visual sphere, and I was so intrigued by the images and graphics. My mind shifted from playing the games to thinking critically about the technical knowledge needed to develop the game itself.

“For my final major project, I chose to work on a theme that could serve the community. I have always been an advocate of raising awareness of social issues through art, and this has guided my final major project at IDI. I used graphic notation in both Arabic and English, in order to unite today’s youth through the presentation of Bob Marley’s “one love”. I hope this humble effort can help promote social change.”
