“Form and function. The two backbones of design. Focusing on creating designs that work well and look good is a bedrock of how I design. Semiotics and iconography are two powerful tools that I utilise well in my work – coupled with fun and bold colour schemes, I have honed my style to become modern and exciting without being pretentious.

“During the course I have developed a penchant for strategy and strategic design, leading me to develop strong branding, promotional and marketing design skills. This is partly down to already holding a position as a marketing designer.

“The pieces I have selected to show are my stronger pieces of work that demonstrate my capability to work to a high standard. I’m thankful for the support supplied by tutors on my course, helping me to progress to new levels of skill, and giving me a clear indication of where to go next.”
