My final project aligns with RSA’s brief to combat loneliness in society. Targeting audiences at 18-40 years old, my proposed outcome is a creative mindfulness app concept and campaign, together with a promotional video. The app design encourages users to interact and connect with others in their communities through prompts based on NHS’ recommended steps to mental wellbeing. To distinguish my designs in a predominantly digital context, I challenge myself to combine colourful tactile mediums through relief-printing, inks, and materials. For my self-negotiated project, I created an Augmented Reality smart-ad campaign for Brita’s Fill & Go range to reduce single-use plastic bottled water. Lateral thinking is key to my creativity and new ideas. I thrive in collaborative situations and seek to apply graphic design for the benefit of society and environment.
