I have interest in commercial design. I have done several projects in retail. Studying Interior Architecture has given me the knowledge and exposure needed to progress and move forward in the industry. I look at design as the gateway to creating aesthetically pleasing interiors or exterior and creating functional spaces.

My final project proposal for a contemporary art space using paining as a medium. The existing building used to be an old grocery store. This grocery store I used is the ideal location for an art space.

The building is located in Harare, Zimbabwe has a lot of foot traffic. The chosen artist that inspired my concept is Ivorian contemporary artist is Aboudia Abdoulaye Diarrassouba. His work is very abstract with the use of a lot of colour and abstract shapes. I have translated the use of colour and different shapes into the building façade and interiors.
