“I enjoy working with children’s illustration, picture books and editorial illustrations, but I’m always open to new and interesting illustration projects in other genres. In my illustrations I like to work with both digital and traditional media. I primarily focus on illustration that promotes knowledge, culture and social criticism.

“In my final project I have translated a classic tale into a modern children’s picture book, which comments critically on our contemporary consumer society. All the illustrations are painted on paper with acrylic paint and coloured pencils.

“I have included two other projects – an illustrated map of the diverse coffee culture in Zagreb, and a cover for the classic children’s book ‘Carrie’s War’.

“I’m an optimist and I believe that it is possible to build a better world, and my wish is that my work as an illustrator will help to do just that.”
