The first project featured here is my final major project, a children’s picture book I created inspired by what I learned from my degree essay about how representations of refugees in picture books can encourage compassion.

I created my own story, told without words, about the journey of a young orang-utan who becomes separated from his mother and encounters a group of monkeys. This project taught me so much and I was delighted to have created a complete book at the end of it, covering themes about which I am passionate.

Secondly, I share work from a campaign I created promoting the North Coast 500 route in Scotland, including a billboard for the start of the route, a promotional flyer and a set of souvenir art prints.

The third project featured is my work for Penguin’s competition in which the brief required a new cover for The Wind in the Willows.
