Living in a bubble of busy urban life can disconnect us from the reality of our city on the very basic level of everyday interaction. In fast developing cities it is becoming essential to preserve the human experience.

Manifesto Market is a temporary public venue in Prague, developed in collaboration with local NGO with a primary focus to foster social life and well-being of our and future generations and pursue sustainable thinking. Through community engaging process the site was defined as an open-minded hub, event space and food destination, which shifts the boundary between public and private, business and leisure.

Aesthetically Manifesto Market connects to the site location, a neglected brownfield belonging to a historic train station in the heart of the city. The interior design plays with nostalgic travel experiences combined with contemporary technology and sustainable materials.

  1. For me, this is an impressive project because of its NGO nature, it can be more focus on how people would use the space rather than the stylish material, decorative items etc. The presentation mood of using suitable lighting is also very comfortable. Good work!
