IDI Featured: Design for Print

My Final Major Project was based on the theme ‘Metamorphosis’ and my designs incorporate hand-rendered and digitally produced images.  As the majority of my work is digital, I enjoyed exploring different mediums for this brief which lead to the discovery of alcohol inks that were used to portray the wings of a butterfly and have helped create a very unique identity for the company.

Also included are outcomes for my self-negotiated brief ‘Network’ where I produced a set of six commemorative stamps celebrating the mysterious phenomenon of crop circles as well as my outcome for the ISTD Typographic Awards 2017 on the theme of ‘Dead Wood Archive’ which resulted in a square booklet as a summary of the book ‘Voices of Ancient Philosophy’.

IDI has enabled me to study for a master’s in graphic design whilst balancing work and family life and I am grateful for the support of all those who helped make it possible.
