“The aim of my final project was to demonstrate how interior architecture can bring new life to an existing building. The intent of the design was to challenge the traditional notion of the ‘gallery’ as a container for art and to develop a new art space. My exploration of layers and levels within the space allowed form, colours and light to both guide and evoke emotions for the visitor.
“Completing my studies through IDI has been a very important milestone for myself, my creative progress and my professional development. This has been a great journey and experience for me as an interior architect and a student. Every project has been a tremendous adventure where I can freely explore and study the important interplay between the human being, space, emotions, light, materials and colours.”
