Project: Designing a contemporary fine art photography gallery

“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place…” – Elliott Erwitt

“Similarly for this project, I have taken an ordinary place – an abandoned factory in Malaysia – and I have turned it into a contemporary art gallery that aims to challenge the traditional notion of an art gallery. Inspired by Nadav Kander’s photography, I have utilised light and shade to create a space that ‘reveals yet conceals’; and that exhibits ‘ease with unease’.”
