My final year began with a Penguin book redesign, then a Competition Brief in which an ISTD set brief required the designer to devise a significant anniversary. I selected the 50th anniversary of the May ‘68 student/workers uprisings in France, for a proposed exhibition at Somerset House, London. The concept used Situationist inspired graffiti interpreted using onomatopoeic typography.

For the Negotiated Project, I used the given theme of ‘frequency’ to create an exhibition concept and a marketing campaign based on the repetitive ideas within tartan and its cultural significance.

The Self-Promotional Project evolved out of the fusing of my two professional and personal interests, typography and vinyl record collecting, to create a personal visual identity.

My Final Major Project used the theme of ‘identity’, interpreting the theme I redesigned the identity of the Fashion and Textile Museum and repositioned it towards a new targeted student audience.
