BA (Hons) Illustration
IDI Featured: Social Awareness

My studies at IDI not only helped me to find and strengthen my personal style, but also gave me the confidence that I am moving in the right direction towards being a professional illustrator.

For my final major project, I challenged myself to illustrate some portrait illustrations and design the cover of my own book titled as: “50 Inspiring Iranian Women”. As an Iranian woman, who is interested in women’s issues, this project portrays these outstanding women in arts, science, politics, sport, education or philanthropy fields in response to the theme of identity.

Other projects I am showcasing here are a cover design for Animal Farm by George Orwell and editorial illustrations in response to an imaginary article titled as “How Immigrants Feel Fragmented?” written in The New Yorker.

More illustrations and moving GIF images I created while studying at IDI, can be found on my website.
