I am Stephanie van Luijk, a South African Dutch interior architect and designer. I am curious, forward-thinking and ambitious. Throughout the study at IDI and simultaneous work-experience I have grown as a designer and developed a design style that can be described as warm-minimalism. I combine contemporary geometry with natural materials aiming to create relate-able spaces that resonate a sense of calm, warmth and their own personality. While creative and innovative, I have a business background with which I ensure a professional and respectful approach toward projects, clients, spaces and the environment.

The aim of this proposed New Contemporary Art Space in The Hague is to transform the dated industrial site into a year-round landmark tourist destination that stimulates interest in the complex art-form of Printmaking, supports the local economy and is designed from a sustainable perspective. The three floors of visitor areas host a variety of gallery experiences, a café, shop and event spaces while a new forth floor, enclosed in a glass dome, hosts the restaurant and 180° ocean views.
