I have always been a firm believer in designing for legacy, designing for the quality of life.

To shape the future, architecture and design should be innovative, significant and socially useful, so to leave a legacy. Legacy not only as a design ethos, but also as a methodical approach to design a sustainable future to benefit our environment and our society.

After all, with our thoughts, we make our world.

The final project is the result of a conscious design approach which combines historic preservation with innovative technologies and sustainable design.

Driven by environmental challenges in the construction and design sector and developed with an urban sensibility on industrial heritage, the adaptive re-use of a former brick factory into a Photography Art Gallery will bring a positive impact on the environment, thanks to efficient systems and biomimetic solutions seamlessly integrated into the refurbished historic building. It offers a significant contribution to the local community, linking together art, architecture, historic values and social history.

This project simultaneously creates architecture for art and art for architecture, where architecture creates a container for art while art becomes a medium of expression for architecture.
