“The theme for my proposal is an excavation, by the Cambridge Archaeological Unit, of a Bronze Age fenland settlement at Must Farm in Cambridgeshire. The site has unprecedented levels of preservation, providing a vast amount of information about life in Bronze Age Fenland.

“The concept of the project was the creation of a detailed, interactive, 2D visualisation that can be explored on screen via the internet, at home or in public places such as museum/gallery displays and educational facilities. The individual illustrations would also be suitable for publication in traditional book format. This would allow for the potential, within the world of commercial archaeology, to widen the client base and in turn the potential audience. The images should capture the imagination of a wide range of individuals, in a more immersive way, whilst remaining accurate and informative.”
